Focus: Student outcomes are a concern of any academic institution, but there are often barriers to student success at the level of the student, classroom, instructor, and institution. This edition is dedicated to research on student outcomes. This may include research on student academic success, learning outcomes, emotional and social outcomes, behavioral outcomes, student motivation, student retention, and student engagement. Manuscript submissions are encouraged on any topic related to student outcomes including student motivation to learn, student engagement, student retention, student learning outcomes, student emotional and social development, and behavioral outcomes. These outcomes may be at the level of individual students, classrooms, or at the institutional level. Submissions are welcomed from quantitative research, qualitative research, action research, Q methodology, theoretical work, literature reviews, critical work, and other work appropriate to the study of student outcomes.
