  • Sound Instruction is an annual book series published by the Academic Exchange Quarterly (AEQ).
  • See Volume One as an example.
  • Usually, book's content consists of 2-5 chapters, with 18-7 papers per chapter. Each paper observes
2500-4000 word limit.    About five months before book publication:
    • Series Editor writes 500-1000 word Foreword
    • Book Editor writes 2000-4000 word Preface, see Vol I
    • Each Chapter Editor (if any) writes 300-400 word Introduction, see Vol I
    • All (Book Editor and Chapter Editors) can have also individual articles in the book.
  • A typical volume will have 200-300 pages i.e. about 30-40 articles/papers.
This means that about 40% of articles/papers is expected not to pass the selection process.
  • Book can be published in 18 months or 9 months "fast track" or any timeline in between.
  • Book Editor communicates with aequarterly@gmail.com while observing the following steps:

18 Book Editor (BE) defines book topic
17 BE selects at least 50 potential articles from Keyword Subject Index
17 each article entry includes: publication date, submission number,
and title as noted on SUBMISSIONS REVIEWED AND SCHEDULED FOR PUB
17 AEQ reviews said list and (in ten days or less) sends to BE
	   e-mail addresses of potential authors
16 BE contacts authors that their article was nominated for book publication
15 BE composes a list of authors agreeing to updated their papers.
15 BENCHMARK #1 Book publication is cancelled or delayed when the number of
responses is less than 35 papers, and CFP did not produce additional one.
Otherwise: Book Editor asks authors to make updates, in 2-5 months, per
the following guidelines. Manuscript Authentication & any Redactory Fee
