Focus: The focus of this issue will be on ways that assessment methods, techniques, and strategies are used on campuses to enhance learning, learning, productivity, efficiencies, and overall institutional effectiveness. Given the fact that most accrediting organizations have focus a great deal on assessment of institutional effectiveness, and that some campuses have had some difficulty demonstrating how assessment leads to action and then to overall improvement of teaching, learning, and services, authors in this issue will endeavor to demonstrate how assessment methods, techniques, and strategies have resulted in sustainable, positive impacts over time. Authors published in this issue are expected to briefly discuss the issue(s) and obstacles they face with regard to achieving these sustainable impacts; what methods, techniques, and strategies they use(d) to address such obstacles; and, what overall lessons might be learned from addressing such impacts. Who May Submit: Submissions are welcome from faculty, staff, and administrators employed at all institutions of higher education.
