Focus: The focus of this edition will be issues of diversity presented by today’s complex and changing social interaction. “Diversity” can be defined by such terms as age, race, ethnicity, handicap, sexual orientation, religion, sex, or other characteristic defining the human experience. The edition welcomes articles that explore one or more of these characteristics, the accompanying issues, and how the field or focus of adult education has or can bridge the gap between various societies, cultures, or individuals. Basically the question is, “Is Diversity an adult education agenda?” “Why?” or “why not?”. Who May Submit: Faculty, administrators, graduate students and anyone interested in the field of adult education, or anyone working with adult learners is invited to submit.
