Embedding ePortfolios in Student Teaching

López Ortiz, St. John’s University            Aliya Holmes, St. John’s University ABSTRACT This paper reports on a study conducted to understand the complex nature and feasibility of embedding electronic portfolios (ePortfolios) in a student teaching seminar experience. The study looked at the results of a semester-long effort to provide training to guide students in using an online service provider to create their ePortfolios, their appraisal of training on the portfolio creation process, supporting technology, and issues related to embedding the process in an established student teaching seminar.
