Drowning in Information – Starved for Knowledge            Susan F. Belgrad, Califonia State University Northridge ABSTRACT The dilemma with the excessive amount of sources and forms of media information and misinformation is addressed in this article. As faculty, we must recognize and then address the global problem of information-glut and misinformation. Educators need to help students at all levels to develop critical thinking as well as information-literacy capabilities. An innovative process is suggested as one way to provide students with both recognition of bias and the need to critically analyze all forms of information.
