Cross-cultural intergenerational service learning            Judy Esposito, Elon University, NC            Bud Warner, Elon University, NC ABSTRACT International service learning is a growing pedagogy with unique benefits, goals and challenges. This paper discusses a service learning study abroad course in which the content was dependent not only on contact with the elders of the community as the keepers of the cultural heritage but also on sensitivity to cultural and generational differences.
