ABSTRACT
The authors examined the effects of studentsí experience with cooperative learning
and technology on participantsí acceptance of the use of cooperative learning in
the online classroom. Results of the study demonstrated that participants with
previous experience in the use of cooperative learning were more comfortable with
the use of cooperative learning online. Similarly, participants who were previously
familiar with the technology used in the course demonstrated a positive attitude
and acceptance of the use of online cooperative activities.
