Cooperative learning in the online classroom            Amany Saleh, Arkansas State University            Marcia Lamkin, University of North Florida ABSTRACT The authors examined the effects of students’ experience with cooperative learning and technology on participants’ acceptance of the use of cooperative learning in the online classroom. Results of the study demonstrated that participants with previous experience in the use of cooperative learning were more comfortable with the use of cooperative learning online. Similarly, participants who were previously familiar with the technology used in the course demonstrated a positive attitude and acceptance of the use of online cooperative activities.
