Developing Digital Course Materials: Making Time
Peter A. Maresco, Sacred Heart University, CT
Digital technology offers educators the ability to produce materials
that are interactive and technologically relevant to students. This
paper addresses the issue of providing professors with opportunities
to develop digital technologies designed to meet their individual
teaching style. Sacred Heart University is used as an example of how
time and professional expertise are provided resulting in personalized
digital materials that effectively enhance instructional effectiveness.
Selection criteria, budget, and examples of faculty projects are also
provided.
