Focus:
Papers related to the education and training of healthcare professionals, as well as educational activities related to patient/public-health populations are invited. Target subjects include undergraduate and graduate education in the following areas: Nursing education, Medical education, Dental education, Health and Physical education, Pharmacy, Public health, Veterinary medicine, Patient education

Submissions addressing use of technology in aforementioned fields are encouraged. Examples of appropriate topics:
  • Innovative approaches to Healthcare Education
  • Creative approaches to “reality based” healthcare education
  • Ethical, Legal and Economic Components of Healthcare education
  • Designing, Implementing, and Evaluating Online Distance education courses
  • Evaluating Outcomes of Distance Education courses
  • Use of Technology in delivering CME/CE
  • Use of Technology in supporting undergraduate and graduate education
  • Use of Technology for patient education and support groups
  • Use of Technology in public health education
Reports and studies of educational activities may be at the undergraduate, graduate, or continuing education levels.

Who May Submit:
Faculty, graduate students, nurses, health care agency educators/staff development, physicians, physical therapists, dentists, occupational therapists, librarians, computer instructional technology support personnel, and others involved in medical, nursing, and health sciences education or in patient/public health education. Please identify your submission with keyword: HEALTH-9
