Focus:
The focus for this issue is religion, spirituality and education. Papers dealing with any aspect of teaching about religion or the spiritual development of students in public or private schools, colleges and universities, or community/adult education environments are welcome. The approach may be philosophical and deal with questions of pluralism, individual rights, and the intersection of religious belief and secularism or may employ empirical research to investigate aspects of religion and spirituality in educational contexts through quantitative or qualitative means. The latter may include broad analysis of various demographics or case-studies, or may focus on issues of importance for teachers, learners or administrators in relation to the teaching or development of religion and spirituality. Of particular interest are papers exploring religious and spiritual education from a human rights perspective or engaging with the religious dimensions of intercultural and/or peace education.

Who May Submit:
Manuscripts are sought from teachers, researchers, teacher-educators and other academics with experience teaching religious or spiritual education at any level (K-16; community or adult education) or who have undertaken research into religious education, spiritual education or the religious aspects of intercultural and/or peace education. Graduate students whose work is supported by a lecturer/professor will also be considered (co-authored with professor).
