Focus:
Due to the changes in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, (2004) special educators are required to implement interventions and instructional methodologies using evidence-based strategies. As a result, school districts are re-evaluating instructional practices that are currently being implemented for students with disabilities.

For this issue of AEQ we are seeking research studies that focus on the implementation and utilization of evidence-based strategies for students with disabilities in inclusive settings or in special education settings. Quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-model designs are welcomed.

Who May Submit:
Submissions are welcomed from special education teachers, school psychologists, educational diagnosticians, behavior interventionist, speech language pathologist, administrators, or any other individuals who are actively engaged in the education of students with disabilities. Please identify your submission with keyword: SPECIAL-4
